100g (1/2 cup) of water
75g of vegetable oil/vegetable spread or melted unsalted butter
20g (1 tbsp) of agave/maple syrup or honey
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tin with baking paper (e.g. 22cm square tin or 27cm round) and grease with butter or vegetable oil.
- In a large bowl, whisk the butter (or vegetable oil), water and your liquid sweetener.
- Add your brownie mix to the wet mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 14-16 mins. Tip: take out at 14 minutes for fudgy brownies. Once ready, cool on a wire rack, cut into 12 pieces and enjoy!
